Civil divorce taken back by husband |

Question:
Assalamalaikum,
My husband and I were having some problems and he moved out and filled up the divorce papers from the local courts and signed them and his solicitor sent them off to the courts,I then got a solicitor and signed the papers too and sent it back to the courts, my husband suddenly then said it was a mistake to fill and sign the divorce papers so he asked his solicitor to withdraw the divorce petition from the courts, we are now back together as we have children,he never said any divorce words verbally just filled and signed the forms but he withdrew the petition and I want to know if this is a divorce or if my marriage is still halal?

Answer:
As long as he withdrew the divorce petition, divorce did not take place, your marriage is valid.
