Can one masjid's fund be used for another masjid? |

We run a Masjid, which consists of a number of trustees. Someone from a different locality would like to use some of our Masjid funds for another Masjid. Is this allowed?
Normally, any money donated for a specific Masjid, is to be spent on that Masjid only. In case, a surplus amount is available, it can be diverted to a similar purpose i.e. Masjid as well and not for any other purpose like feeding the poor, helping the sick people etc.
Anyhow a unanimous decision of all the trustees (or the Masjid committee) is needed for such a transfer of the funds to a different Masjid.
