Surah Al Imran verse 118 Print E-mail
Question:
Refering to the surah Al Imran verse 118.
Allah tells us plainly. What do we do if in a situation of unavoidable circumstances? Ie doctors, council needing acommadation, using public transport. No muslims may be avalible at that time and in the community. We live in a non muslim country. In certain feilds and areas of employment muslims may not be as avalible in dealing with the mentioned above. If we are not able to tell if someone is a muslim do we just ask?
JazzaqAllahu kayran

Answer:

Re= verse 3:118
This verse implies that in the most sensitive posts, non-Muslims should not be taken as intimate friends lest they betray you. So it concerns those Muslim who are enjoying a place of authority, mostly in Muslim lands. This doesn’t apply to the Muslims who are living as a minority and do not enjoy a position of authority.

Wassalam.
