Question: Please could u answer a few questions i have i was born and brought up a muslim now i am older i have decided i dont neccisarily want to follow the religion and i am in a relationship with a christian i have read accordig to sharia both of these things are punishable by death is this true and is it legal.

Thank you for the email. I would like to invite you back to Islam, the religion of all the Prophets who convyed one message which was to Worship Allah, the Creator of all mankind. Allah has appointed a day which is the Day of ressurection where every soul shall repay for their actions. All the major religions believe in this. However, they have strayed away from the pure teachings of their prophets and have adultrated their scriptures with falsehood.

Islam has been the religoin of all prophets because they came from One God Who chose one religion for His creation. He has created Paradise for those who believe in Him and Hellfire which is more hotter than sun itself. It is a resting place for those who disbelived after they had faith.

Each soul shall taste death. This is one certainty which no one can deny. Death comes to everyone without any warning or message. What faith will you take with you to your grave? A faith which proclaims that it believes in Allah who created everything and is the Creator and God of all mankind including the Prophets and Messengers he sent to mankind? Or will you take with you the belief of an athiest you assumes that nothing can create something? Or that the value zero can create the value one? Or will you become a Jew or Christian who were already Muslims and following the religion of Ibrahim who was neither a Jew nor Christain rather he submitted himself to Allah, the Lord of heavens and earth? This submission in Arabic is called ‘Islam’ and the one who submits is called a Muslim. Thus, all the prophets preached to their people to submit their selves to One Allah which is Islam/Muslim.

Dear sister, do not let ignorace be an excuse to reject faith. Ignorance about something should not lead to denial, rather it should lead to investigation. If you do not know whether there is a country called America, it shouldnt lead you to deny it, rather you should investigate to find out the truth. Similarly, if you do not know the true message of islam because maybe you are analysing the religion from the actions of Muslims then this is truly a false measurement. Religion should be looked at from the messenger who came with the message, his dealings and conducts with other people and from the message he brought (i.e. the book – Quran). Investigate what Islams says about women and their rights which were not found at the time when Prophet Muhammed was chosen as the final messenger to all mankind. Women used to be raped, their properties were taken away, they had no share in inheritance etc, but islam came and gave them status and honour. It gave them a share in society and elevated them as a human being.

The womens right compagin began in 1970’s but islam came 1400 years ago upholding their rights and status.

If you die then ask yourself this question;

Has anyone come back from their graves to tell us who exactly is on the right path? If no, then do another thing...

Open up the Quran and see how many facts it mentions 1400 years which no one could possibly have known, despite the fact the one who is telling these facts is an illetrate prophet (Muhammed) who could neither read or write. Rather, the Quran was an inspired by Allah through Jibrail to him.

If you die without accepting Islam as your faith, you have really purchased the biggest loss ever because this life will soon perish and all what is on it. The real life for a believer in Allah will begin after death. That day those who believed in Allah will rejoice for their faith and the rewards which Allah will bestow upon them. And those who belied Allah and His religion willl given the reward of burning Fire in which they will burn forever.

So, please do not let temptation of this life deviate you from what lies ahead of you inshAllah. Really think about your decision and if you do wish to leave faith then coming back to your inital question whether its a sin to have relations with a Christain man; after leaving the faith of Islam, why should you be bothered what is a sin! You have left the religion and hence all its rules and regulatoins do not apply to you after that.
