Miscarriage, Allah is not listening to my Dua! Print E-mail
Questoin:
Asalaam-u-alikum, I am 28 years old, married and no children. I am not a good muslim and suffering from my 2nd miscarriage. I prayed so hard to Allah but I misccaried again. I am scared Allah is angry with me, and cant hear my dua\'s...I feel Allah is leaving me and I need Him...Please guide me to any dua I can do as I need to talk to Allah...I want to pray to Allah but I feel He isnt there for me...and I want to talk to him...please advise me.

answer:

Sister in order for you to make dua to Allah there are certain things you need to understand. Sometimes when we make dua we expect from Allah an answer straight away. This is not the case and this is why the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

‘Allah will respond to the dua of a person aslong as he does not have despair’ – meaning that he doesnt stop making dua after a while because he cannot see a response from Him – rather he is having despair so his dua will not be accepted.

Also, when we make dua, the reason for making dua is maybe something harmful for us but due to our limited knowledge we are unable to precieve that. This is something mentioned in the Glorious Quran;

‘And maybe you dislike something which is good for you, and maybe you love something which is harmful to you, but Allah knows better and you do not’ [Surah Baqrah]

So, you may want a thing which infact is harmful for your future but due to your love for that thing, your unable to see it.

Now, from the core belief of a Muslim is to have faith that Allah hears everyone as He said in the Quran;

‘And when My slave ask you (O Muhammed) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge), I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me. So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led alright’ [2:186].

So, you should have hope in Allah and have belief that whatever has been done is by His permission and knowledge and He never does injustice upon His slaves. This way, you will attain a sense of reliance upon him and satisfaction from whatever outcome because you know that it was from His permission and He is more caring to us than our own parents.
