| Is affirmation of Allah's existance enough for salvation |

Question: Why were the nations destroyed when they affirmed His existance? Answer: Their affirmation of Allah's exsitance did not benefit them because they did not directed their worship purely and solely to Him, so they worshiped others besdie Him, nor did they single Him out in their affirmation of His Names & Attributes thus they started resembling Hito His creation and corrupting the meanings of His Attributes by using false and frutile analogies in their explaination. So, this tawheed of their's did not benefit them at all and nor did it take them out from the fold of disbelief (kufr) to the fold of Islam. Allah has spoken regarding those Mushrikeen who used to affirm His existance, that He is the Sustainer and that He is the Creator of everything, however, despite their conviction, they were still called as 'Mushrikeen'. This is because they did not give Oness to Him in His Worship or His Names and Attributes |
