Resuming prayers after missed abortion |

Question:
Asalaam aleikum,
I have had a missed abortion. That means the fetus died in the 7th week and did not leave my womb spontanously. I found this out in the 13th week. In hospital they preformed a currettage, to take it out.
How should i handle my prayers? Can i pray after washing my private parts (when i still lose blood caused by the currettage) or should i not pray for several days (like after childbirth or during menstruation)?
Answer:
Walykum Assalam,
Because your miscarriage happened after eightyone days of pregnancy, your post-natal blood is treated as Nifas. So you should not pray until you are cleaned completely.
